Erdal Aydın specializes in independent audit, tax, and management consultancy, with nearly 20 years of experience gained in the public, private, and non-governmental sectors.

Aydın began his professional career as a Tax Auditor (Hesap Uzmanı) within the Ministry of Finance and continued as a Tax Inspector. He has also held various positions within the Prime Ministry and the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF).

Subsequently, during his tenure of over 8 years as a Tax Director and in various other roles within a leading multinational group of companies, he managed accounting, financial, and tax processes across 20 countries.

Aydın graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Finance, and completed his Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance at Oxford Brookes University.

In addition to holding the titles of Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant (YMM) and Independent Auditor (POA/KGK), he holds licenses for CMB Level 3 (Advanced), Derivative Instruments, Credit Rating, and Corporate Governance Rating.

He continues to serve in roles such as Rapporteur for the Tax Council of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Member of the TÜSİAD Tax Working Group, and Rapporteur for the Blockchain Turkey Platform (Tax, Legislation, and Regulation Working Group). He contributes to lectures and provides mentorship on international taxation and the Turkish tax system at various universities.

Erdal Aydın, who appears as a guest on live broadcasts regarding economy and taxation on channels such as Bloomberg, Habertürk, Ekotürk, and CNBC-E, also has numerous articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
